About Kaye...
Kaye Coleman has worked with people in Arizona, California, and New York to discover their own inner healing.
She has a BA in Psychology and is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Spiritual Coach, and Toe Reader. Currently she
has a thriving private practice and works for the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts creating placement
opportunities for graduates and providing community outreach.
Last November she organized 70+ volunteers from SWIHA for the Celebrate Your Life Conference 2007. Before
coming to the realm of Holistic Healing she worked in the Mental Health Field in various programs throughout the
country. In New York she built a Vocational/Educational program from the ground up. In Arizona she started a
literacy program and traveled to educate her clients about nutrition. In California she managed Human Resources
for a United Artists Theatre where she organized all the staff meetings and appraisals, created a company safety
program which was used throughout the corporation, and coordinated all the movie promotions.
She has always been able create new and innovative programs throughout her various careers. She believes that
there is always room to expand! Kaye uses her skills as an educator to teach others how they can create evolution
in their own lives.
She felt drawn to join the Emerging Healers Conference as an organizer because it is an innovative way for cutting
edge healing concepts to become known. She felt her natural creativity and enthusiasm would be an accet to the
Emerging Healers Conference. She is honored to serve on the conference Organization Board and create the first
of many successful conferences for Emerging Healers and beyond.

About Karen...
Karen Lee, “The Reiki Lady” is originally from Denver, CO. by way of Los Angeles, San Diego, Charlotte and Port
Arthur. Lee is a Reiki Master Practitioner and an intuitive bringing forth individual and group messages.
While publishing the Laughter Prescription Newsletter, dedicated to the healing power of humor, she learned how
to write press releases that resulted in an appearance on CNN and nationwide coverage. Lee developed further
marketing expertise as a volunteer for the Satsang Foundation and advertising sales representative for the Light
Connection and Art of Well Being Magazines.
She brings a passion for moving energy, removing blocks and assisting others to transcend their limitations and
achieve self realization to her readings and reiki.
Karen has joined the Conference Organization Board out of passion to support the success of the event and her
belief in the intentions it bears. She brings forth her talents in Public Relations and her abilities to think out of the
box in marketing tactics along with a her wonderful and supportive nature.

hypnotherapy, intuitive reading, spiritual coaching and vibrational therapies. She holds a degree in Mind/Body
Transformational Psychology from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Her passion is transformational
psychology and the application of Universal Law to heal, transform and enlighten.
Her life experiences as a single mother and her career in the legal field lend a practical aspect to her philosophy
and practice. Kathy is passionate about sharing her knowledge and gifts to heal, inspire and facilitate
transformation.
Kathy brings expansive talents to the Conference Organization Board utilizing her talent for editing, and

About Lesley...
Lesley Pelkey, founder of Divine Elements, is a holistic consultant for mind and body wellness. She uses an
approach combining fitness training, hypnotherapy, and life wellness coaching to achieve balance and optimal
health for the mind and body. She has found that everyone desires to create a healthful life, but they sometimes
lack the knowledge of how to begin, and the support to maintain this transformation. Through her personal
experiences and education she has discovered her life passion of assisting others to achieve and maintain
emotional, mental, and physical health. Lesley is currently a student of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts will
be graduating in the Master Hypnotherapy Practitioner Program and continuing her education pursuing her degree
in Mind and Body Transformational Psychology.
As an entrepreneur in the field of healing arts Lesley joined the Emerging Healers Conference Organization Board
to be part of the emerging shift of human consciousness. She has a passion and gift for providing others with a
new realm of awareness of self and of ones own choices of empowerment. The intention behind the Emerging
healers Conference inspired Lesley to join the committee. She passionately believes this will be an event that will
open hearts, minds, and transform lives.

About Sandy...
Rev. Sandy Jones, Founder of The Emerging Healers Conference, is a Spiritual Coach, Inspirational
Speaker and an Ordained Minister. In the past 25 years she has worked as a designer, teacher, software
specialist, and entrepreneur in the tech industry. In parallel with her technical career she has held a deep passion
for motivation.
Through spiritual and psychological studies at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and through her own
motivational studies she has discovered a process of motivation that goes deep into the soul. Her own life
experiences and personal transformation are testimony to this process. This inspired her to create Soul
Motivations, A Ministry of Love.
Inspired by a vision she received on September 7, 2006, Sandy immediately hit the ground running with the
plans for creating the Emerging Healers Conference in an effort to "create a way" to spotlight the rising stars of the
healing arts.
In 2004 Sandy was the lead organizer for a Beta Sigma Phi convention. This experience combined with her talent
in organization of details, leadership abilities, technical skills and a heart felt desire to bring spirituality into business
have all culminated in the manifestation of what will be the most talked about conference of the decade.
